I'm thinking about getting a Barcelona chair in ivory. Anyone have any experience with how it will hold up? It certainly won't be an every day chair becuase I'll be sitting on the couch mostly, but it will certainly get some use. I just don't want to end up with it being filthy at the end of 6 months and wishing I had gone with black. Thanks!

Can you help me find this? I LOVE the sofa in this picture and would love to find something just like it. Any ideas?

Help! We painted a wall in our loft-style condo a blue/grey color (Flint Smoke by Behr). A grey sectional couch sits up against it - and it looks awful! It blends together, but with very little contrast. The problem is that the wall is one wall from downstairs all the way up to the second floor and we can't repaint the whole thing (Flint Smoke goes nicely with the other color we have downstairs). My question is this - can I paint 1/2 the wall (the portion behind the couch) another color - there is no real natural divide in the wall. Or can I wallpaper that portion? I'm not sure what else I can do. The floor is blonde wood and our long, low media cabinet is black. The wall across from the sofa is white and the other two walls are windows. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Help! I need to have some wood furniture rehabbed/refinished. I would consider doing it myself, but I need to strip and refinish a six-chair set which are incredibly ornately carved. I also need to find someone who can make a leaf to fit my grandparents' eighty-year-old dining table. Does anyone have any good contacts in L.A.?
Thanks in advance,
Laura

It's similar to the Loring (I love that sofa) at Room & Boadr, though this one doesn't have back pillows...
