just wanted to express my appreciation for the west coast site. I really like the distinctive style of la at. I'm back in vancouver after 10 years away, and since I'm having a great deal of difficulty readjusting to my hometown (most popular interior design theme: buddha heads), it's nice to be reminded of all the things I like about the west coast. Van ain't LA, of course, though it likes to pretend...
thanks for the great work.

Blue. I love Vancouver. It's such a beautiful city. And I really believe there is quite a creative and vital design scene there--at least that was the impression I've gotten on my handful of visits. Plus, don't you a Club Monaco Home store there?

Yes, we do - Caban. Club Monaco was originally Canadian (now owned by Ralph Lauren, I believe), and Caban is a great source for a streamlined look at just about every price point.
And there is a vibrant design scene here. There are also lots of Buddha heads. The Buddha heads (absolutely no disrespect intended to Buddhists) are indicative a fascination with the exotic that is particularly strong in this city. I dunno, it often seems like the home decorating equivalent of Madonna's bindhi.
Ehhh, it's just hometown ambivalence. I'll get over it. If I hadn't grown up here, I'd probably be thrilled.
