Best Uses for Cork Trivets

When we see something cheap enough that we could buy it in bulk, we try to think of as many uses as we can for it. What we've done with the cork trivets we bought under the cut:

We're using the Ikea cork trivet which sells for $1.99 for a pack of 3.

Since the ones we bought are sold in three's we thought they'd be perfect on the inside of our pantry door to keep track of things we need to buy, recipes we want to try and favorites that we use often. The same technique could be used for sorting receipts or incoming/outgoing mail on your landing strip.

Using pushpins and needles, this is an esay enough way to liberate jewelry from little boxes and drawers and put it somewhere you'll see.

Stacked these make great plant stands to help protect any overspill from hurting the furniture below it.

How are those trivets mounted to the wall? Double-sided tape?
