that sign's in downtown la, right near the criminal courthouse and walt disney concert hall.

I just spent 20 minutes looking for my keys this morning because I cleaned my purse yesterday and put them in the pocket instead of on the COUNTER next to the purse like I always do. I checked IN the purse because I put it last night with the thought, "Now remember, this is where the keys are," and still went and checked both pockets of the rain slicker, etc. Damn outside purse pocket! It was almost plain sight!

kaanswfm - put them in JUST ONE PLACE, always, no ifs/buts - put a hook near your front door, or a table, but make that The Place - trust me, I nearly got evicted some 10 years ago because I was so chaotic, make it a law you stick to, and make things in general easier to put away than they are to take out.
