apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

We're not sure these bamboo solar garden lights would work with our mostly succulent and dry heat flora and xeriscaping, but they're a lot more organic looking despite the high tech LED lighting housed within. We might need to get some of our Australian bloggers to send us a couple of these solar lights, as they're only available down under from Patio by Jamie Durie. We're trying to source some bamboo and possibly DIY our own version if we can get our hands on some used solar lighting to take apart. Has anyone out there house their own solar lighting with a custom housing? We'd love to hear any tips or recommendations before we do it ourselves.
