We were immediately drawn to his "Griffin" and "Isabella" planters. The forms are reminiscent of another California modern classic, Architectural pottery, but Feiz has given them a total "Hollywood-makeover". The planters are coated in a super slick and sexy automotive finish. Feiz was explaining to us how many funny looks he got when he went to the automotive painters, asking them to coat his unusual shapes. The "Griffin" also has an added feature, with a wooden top that quickly transforms it double as a stool or side table. We also loved that they could be stacked to form taller shapes. Perfect for the indoors or outdoors.

We also loved his simple but stylish furniture designs. The "Maxell" chair was inspired by the iconic 80's Maxell cassette poster/ads, but again, Feiz updates and warms it up by using solid american walnut with fabric or cork upholstery. Look out for more of Phase Design locally this year. He's currently designing a "fresh face" for La Terza on 3rd St.
I love the "Ballot" coffee table from this collection! Sexy.[That Reza is one cute guy, too. Yeah, I went there...]
