West Elm Outdoor Furniture

west-elm-outodoor-05-02-.jpgOne more thing to love at West Elm: Seeing this metal outdoor furniture really thrilled us. The look and style of the pieces feel very Hockney/LA, super stylish, by-the-pool living.

As with so many things at West Elm, the prices are great, and the furniture actually looks better in person than on the website or catalog.

Target has a very similar outdoor set this year (white metal with same color green cushions) if you want this style on the super cheap. The style is called Garden Place Ella and they have tables, a dining set, etc. Here's a link to the chaise lounge:

They used to have a bench like the West Elm one too for only $89 but I can't find it online. Maybe it's only in the stores now.

I've been eyeing the lounger in this collection for a couple of weeks now. Methinks it is time to order. The pieces also seem very nicely scaled for a modestly-sized deck or patio.

Thanks for reminding me - this was on my list of things to do.

It's a complete knock off on the Modern Outdoor series shown last year in white with green at ICFF at a fraction of the price and a fraction of the durability. But that isn't always a bad thing.

Um, because it's green and white?

This West Elm stuff at least has a high enough back to actually lean against.

The Modern Outdoor, not so much.

Doesn't that patio set just cry out for large sunglasses and a busboy delivering drinks? It needs to come with...

Doesn't EVERYTHING just cry out for large sunglasses and a busboy delivering?
