I thought Etsy was exclusively handmade items. The vintage items and retro sunny dishes and tablecloth are delightful, but they don't seem to be crafted by hand. Recycled is great, but these cause me to lose faith in one of my favorite websites.

I actually like Etsy's vintage section. It's a pretty small part of the website and handmade goods far outnumber the vintage things. Plus, the goods tend to be more carefully curated than on auction sites like eBay. It's easier to stumble across something interesting.

oooh, I love greenware design. I got my mom this exact thing from them (buttercream dish with feet) for Mother's Day - very summery, and lasts a lot longer than flowers in a vase.

Vintage items on Etsy are listed separately from the handmade items so no need to shop Vintage unless you're searching for Vintage. I have a vintage shop on Etsy and am very careful to limit my listings to classic vintage items along side a few quirky mid century modern items. Folks buying from my site seem to like the selection and have provided favorable feedback. Stop by for a visit! www.RickRackVintage.etsy.com
