I didn't know LA had humid days though. That'd be what like 30%? LOL

Having lived in the Mid-Atlantic region, I'd rather be *inside* on humid days.

Not to be a downer because I do drink, but alcohol (and caffiene) is the worst possible thing to have in your system on a hot muggy day.

Go for California's #1 cash crop instead. I have a medical card and grow my own. To each thier own though.

Well, see, typical guy, you can make a fantastic balcony like this and have it look out on your own dank little plantation! ;^)

I'd love to know from what type of fabric those curtains are made...anyone know?

Those curtains look like they might be muslin.....I made some similar to that for my old highschool bedroom.....half the walls were windows sicne it was an upstairs room, and the sheerness of the white muslin let light through without letting too much else out in the evenings.
