Black and Decker Project Kit

atla07_drillbits.jpg
Our household toolkit is a fairly humble affair, limited both by space (no garage) and budget. We've gotten by with a multipurpose screwdriver, a hammer, a locking pliar, a danish butter cookies tin full of screws, nails, nuts and bolts and a Black and Decker cordless drill. But we just made a notable purchase Monday evening...an acquisition that expands our handy fixing capabilities ten fold. The Black and Decker Complete Project Toolkit is comprised of 201 pieces that us to drill, screw, and saw through just about anything and everything.

I was able to finally create a nice sized hole behind a cabinet using a wood drilling bit, and the whole case is even wall mountable. The 201 pc. set is still available at Target for $30, but there's a 150 pc. set for on Amazon for $12.88. Not a bad investment for the weekend warrior and upcoming DIY superstar.

Yay on the find! Boo on Amazon. They're selling mags and dvds that promote animal fighting and are refusing to remove them from their offerings because "it amounts to censorship." By that logic, they should be selling kiddie porn.

Grrrr.

Boycott Amazon!

We have so many tools in our 5' x 3' storage closet in our 550sq. foot apartment. They are a necessary evil. And once you aquire them, it's really not worth getting rid of them just to have to replace them later when (if) you move into a bigger place.

Not that I promote animal fighting, but muddy_mudskipper you analogy is wrong. Unfortunately animal fighting is legal in certain states. Those magazines and dvds are therefore not illegal everywhere.
