I'm in the middle of this very project, but with iron lawn furniture. For the cushions I want to use colorful mexican cafe fabric - like at mexicana mamas.

My problem is that the spray paint scratches off so easily, revealing the base color. Is there a more durable spray paint I should be using?? thanks..

you may want to try spraying a metal primer first, Rustoleum makes a good one- then spray the color you want over- but if you've sprayed a color already- it would work best to strip it again before you start
