Have you ever looked in a catalog and fallen in love with the paint color that was in the rooms the products were in? Then, while trying to recreate the look you saw, you find yourself never quite getting a right match? Well, I was so excited when I got a tip that
Pottery Barn has announced a partnershp with
Benjamin Moore Paints, that hopes to take out that guesswork.
Beginning with their Fall collection, (the new catalog ships next week) Pottery Barn will provide a tight color palette of paints that directly coordinate with that season's product assortment. They are also providing a free handy color fan deck, and a great brochure that gives examples of how to bring color into every room. (I took a picture of them below.)
They're also sectioning off a
part of their website that will give additional tips, as well as an ongoing archive of the paint colors of past seasons, and links to the closest Benjamin Moore paint stores. I really love the sophisticated warm tones they're offering this season, and am actually contemplating their "Salisbury Green" for my kitchen... More info
here.
This is an exciting new feature of Pottery Barn -- can't wait to get the new catalog!
I painted by kitchen cabinets Ben Moore Caldwell Green this past winter. Great color. Whew knew?
I am one interior designer who will never dog Pottery Barn. I love them... always thinking of basic ways to make design easier.
Wasn't this a Good Question once?
I would love it if the Colortherapist would do an analysis of the CB colors. I am thinking of the beigy one.
Note to Self -- Yes, it was a Good Question.
