The Color Sense Game

atlacolorsense060908.jpgPittsburgh Paints has posted a diversionary fun little online "game" that supposedly reveals your current colour preference depending upon your senses, interests and style via a seven step questionnaire. You're supposed to answer immediately without too much thought, with your instinctual answers resulting in recommendations for your primary and secondary colour preferences. Give it a try here.

I got Desert Spice and Pop...very Gilbert & George, but not exactly a combination I see using on the walls of my own home.

It was fun to go through the questions no matter what the outcome. I think it was pretty right on in the end - Water Beads (blues) for primary and Al Fresco (greens) for secondary.

I got blues, and it's funny because I'm about to move and I've been planning painting my new place in pale cold blues.

Blues are Primary (yes) and Whites are secondary (probably not - I'm more a brown guy)

I can somewhat see myself in the choices, but more importantly...I like that it gave me different color palattes to choose from that I might not have thought about using before.

Interesting! (But I'm not re-painting just yet...)

Leather, stone and wood with fresco (green). Makes it sound as if I want to live in a cabin.

It said I liked blues, which is strange as I have no blue anywhere in my home. And leather, stone and wood which I guess is true.
