It's been happening pretty frequently for us: relighting the water heater pilot light, replacing the shower head, changing the water filter under the sink, caulking the bathtub, fixing the heater...By taking the initiative ourselves to fix a home repair solution, we've probably saved ourselves a lot of time and money. I turn to the internet for countless DIY tips and projects for my home. My favorite show is Threadbanger's Decor It Yourself. I reupholstered some chairs after watching one of their shows, but my favorite is the Graffiti Lace episode:

I read a lot of DIY tips, then realize I'm better off paying someone to do it for me, especially now that I don't have health insurance for ER visits after I bungle things.
