Eclipse Colour Changing Paint

IMG_0517.jpg
No, that's not green paint pouring into a black bath tub. It's actually a temperature activated reaction, due in part because the tub has been coated with Eclipse, a heat sensitive colour changing paint which results in the freakishly strange effect (imagine the butt prints you'd leave in the tub!). The effect is cheezy, but somehow mesmerizing all at the same time, in a Britney Spears downward-spiral sort of way. Watch a video of the colour changing action here (Windows Media Video).

Not sure about this... kinda creepy like the invasion of the green blob.
This strangely reminds me of those heat-activated Generra Hypercolor shirts circa 1989... remember those? They changed colour according to temperature - like blue or orange when cold, and yellow or white when warm. The shirts were a dreadful sight on a hot summer's day... yikes!
Glad that ridiculous fad is way, way over (stay locked in a time capsule with those tight roll jeans!)
