With the temperatures hitting the triple digits (115 degrees!) over the weekend, most of our weekend plans went right out the window. We found ourselves trying to find activities to do that would keep us relatively cool and relaxed: We caught an afternoon movie, ate a lot of popsicles, and spent way more time than we expected trying to pick out colors for the exterior of our house. How did you beat the heat this weekend?

I wouldn't say we beat the heat, but we tamed it with the help of cross-ventilation and our fan.
Please do tell how you are approaching the task of selecting paint for your house! We are also working on that.

God these posts are depressing - this weekend in the UK I was the official photographer for my friend abseiling down a dam for charity - I had on my winter knitted garments and most people had waterproofs with them just in case - which was a good thing as by lunchtime on Saturday it was freezing cold with torrential rain - I don't think I've ever been so wet in my entire life!!!
