Unique Novelty Hand Soaps

atla031808-washhands01.jpgWe've pragmatically replaced our bathroom sink hand soap with a refillable Method pump soap (Ivory or Softsoap). But we know some people like novelty and shaped soaps, since they add a bit of character and fun to the bathroom. So we've collected some of our favourite fun soaps of various shapes...

atla031808-rocksoap.jpgWe liked these colourful Rocksoaps for their decor complimenting colour combinations; available in a variety of scents that include Calendula, Chamomile, Lavender, and Comfrey.

atla031808-shellsoap.jpgWe've seen plenty of bathrooms with a seaside theme, and what better compliment than these starfish and sea urchin shaped soaps?

atla031808-fishsoap.jpgPet Fish Soap in a Bag are admittedly a little creepy/silly...but kinda cool too. The "water" is actually glycerin soap and the goldfish smell like tangerine-grapefruit. A fun choice for the kids.

atla031808-icecreamsoap.jpgWe've always been tempted to get some of these Soapsicles for our own vintage ice cream/sweets themed bathroom. The temptation to taste them would be an issue.

atla031808-tapesoap.jpgGot a friend who likes their stationery? This vegetable based soap rolls out just like tape and comes in jasmine or ocean scent.

atla031808-IVsoap.jpgThey say washing your hands has been medically proven to improve your health. We're not sure if it's quite the life and death situation implied by these Agape Gerba IV soap dispensers, but the doctor in your life might get a kick outta 'em.

atla031808-leavessoap.jpgThese Soap Leaves are as beautiful in real life as they look online. They're exquisite and delicate...we were always hesitant to use them because they were so precious looking. We saved them for guests and parties.

Although my own product isn't a novelty bar of soap, you may find yourself interested regardless.

The Editors of this site should be Ashamed to admit they use Liquid soap!

God is in the details, Dont use Ugly liquid soap and Dont display toilet paper like it is a first place trophy. You guys gotta get over that Fetish.

The site above has some nice soap and its better for you than Grocery store soaps!

what an awkward use of capital letters...
liquid soap is much prettier but i can't help but feel guilty about the packaging so i use pretty bar soaps.

We use liquid soap for many reasons: it's more economical, less messy, less packaging since we purchase liquid soap in bulk, and I hardly think it's "Ugly" when placed in a resusable Method brand dispenser. I certainly hope God doesn't care whether I use liquid or bar soaps (we still use bar soaps in the bath).

I use liquid soap because I don't want to feel guilty for all the employees that will lose their job in the packaging factories if I stop buying them.
