The other day we blogged roadtripping with your pet. But, when it's time to get off the road and bed down for the night, what do you do? Not all hotels will be happy to accommodate you. But, if you're coming to Los Angeles, there are many hotels that will welcome you with open arms. A list we found of those that welcome dogs, after the jump (check with the individual hotels regarding other animals)...

All Kimpton hotels are pet friendly. I stayed at the Hotel Burnham in Chicago and a few of the guests had dogs and they seemed very happy. They even had a feeding station next to the door for the puppies.

I love traveling with my dog. He loves to sleep in and is always happy to go along with whatever I'm interested in doing.
The Lamb and Lion Inn on route 6a in Barnstable, on Cape Cod, is very welcoming to pets. I recommended it to friends of mine who recently spent a long weekend there, and they and their border terrier, Arnold, loved the place! The innkeepers have dogs of their own, and there are always strategically placed water bowls for the inn's four-legged guests.
For a more pricey getaway, The Parker in Palm Springs is also pet friendly.

I am pretty sure that AAA still prints a book about pet friendly hotels that covers the whole country. AAA members can pick one up for free.
