Look: Litter Robot Review at Unplggd

060408_litterrobot1.jpgWe thought we'd point out that Sonia over at Unplggd has posted an in-depth review of the Rolls Royce of cat litter boxes, complete with video of the crazy space capsule contraption in action. Check out whether the Litter Robot is the cat's whiskers or full of...well you know what. Full review here.

Kinda random, but what cute cats! That black and white one looks especially adorable and curious! As for cat litter robots, they're nice, but I think I'll stick to the old fashion kind. It might be a hassel to scoop, but it only costs a couple of dollars, compared to what the electric ones cost!

I have a litter robot and it has been one of best items I have ever purachased. Even with two Buddha Domes, my girlfriend and I were panning litter every day to keep my two cats appeased. No longer! Once a week I top off fresh litter, add some deodorizer and dump the hopper. That's it! Great improvement in quality of life.

Totally worth the money. Not sure if I can say the same about my Kittypod....

We have too many gizmos in our lives, and I have to say this is right up there with the most gizmoish I have seen.

But that black and white cat is super cute!

My two girls have their own litter boxes. They are fourteen yeas old and set in their ways. I think it would be wonderful not to have to scoop the poop twice a day. They don't like anything that makes noise and of course thay always win! I love my girls!

I love my LitterRobot too - as Nathan says, totally worth the money.

I can't see myself spending that much on something for my cats to poop in. I have a litter box that you manually roll and it does the same thing as this one (sifts the good litter out, puts the poop in a drawer for disposal) but it was only $30 at petco.

Rierei, how often do you have to clean yours out? Daily?

I agree with Rierei . . . I have a litter box sounds exactly like it (roll manually and empty the drawer). It's SUCH an improvement over scooping and I didn't want to spend the money for an "automatic" litter box like LitterRobot or CatGenie. I have a Littermaid electric litter box stored in my front closet. One of my cats is afraid of it and refuses to use it so . . .since he won't go in the room it's in, he did his business wherever he felt like it. Went back to my old litterboxes: problem solved!! Yes, my cats rule!!
