Bamboo Colony Furniture: "Fabulous" Captured in a Furniture Store

7525 Beverly Blvd
Los Angeles, CA

10-31-bamboo-1-.jpgBamboo Colony may consider itself a fancy design studio, but to us it is a really fun store.

The store specializes in wood, upholstery stainless steel iron and acrylic, and there is evidence throughout the shop. The furniture is both special and a little over the top.

The last time we were there, we marveled at a gold lame club chair and a few hugely oversized floor lamps that were all so hysterical they almost worked.

We also like Bamboo Colony for their interesting takes on some pretty common furniture staples like their upholstered beds, and sectional sofas. The prices are not much higher than Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel, et al, which allows for some nice individuality when picking out what you need.

10-31-bamboo-2-.jpgThey have lovely fabrics to choose from and even lovelier sales assistants who make shopping for high-ticket items feel like a fun afternoon frolic. Scattered throughout the store are wonderful little objects; a sleek glass vase, a funky silver tray allowing for plenty to splurge on, no matter your pocket size.

Swanky furniture and mancandy-advertising. What's not to love?

Well no comment to that, it's hard to find right word and describe these gorgeous pieces of furniture, they could be successfully included in furniture collections.
