apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Inspiration can come in the strangest places. We were early to meet a friend in the eastern most area of Boys-town (on Crescent Heights and Santa Monica). We were strolling the streets but feared looking like we were trying to make some extra cash (its a very cruisy part of town) so we popped into Candle Delirium, a candle store that sits next to (of course) a Mens sexy- Underwear shop.

After our nose calmed down from the gabajillion smells permeating the air, we discovered that the small unlikely shop was filled to the brim with every style, type and scent of candle available. Dozens of options under $30 made us think that this is the shop to shop.

We loved the Archipelago Botanicals Destinations Collection Candles ($30) with their faux-croc boxes and luggage tags. There were also some Kabala candles from Slatkin and once we inquired as to whether or not they were ironic (they are not- think Kabala water, maybe) we settled in and thought they were lovely.
