We found ourselves stuck in Burbank during rush hour yesterday (being Los Angeles, rush hour means 2:30). Because we see avoiding traffic at all costs an absolute necessity, we decided to hang out for a few hours in the mysterious land that we only know from our Studio days. We headed for Ikea and the Everything Indoor store, but got sidetracked (read: lost) and ended up in the little walking mall on San Fernando Blvd. We came across a store called skyblupink.
The store has some funky accessories usually reserved for the stylish stores of Larchmont village or Los Feliz, but the prices were clearly Burbank (that should read as a good thing). We were drawn to these pendulum clocks, which were simple and sweet. We never know where the line of tastelessness comes in when looking at spiritual icons, but we laughed out loud at the rubber Buddha card holder/letter organizer ($18.00). There was nothing here that couldnt be found elsewhere, but if you too find yourself stuck in Burbank for a few hours, swing by skyyblupink for a deal or two .

Loving those four portraits.
My girlfriend and I often stop by SkyBluePink when in Burbank. Many interesting knick knacks and paintings and they have great clocks, too.
Skyblupink is around the corner from my office. So, I often stop in when it's time to buy gifts for female friends.
Another hot tip for this stretch of San Fernando Blvd: Modern furniture company EQ2 opens their first Southern California location three doors down. Also on this same block, Urban Outfitters and surf/skate-lifestyle shop Active (which has Burbank's hippest-designed retail space). This ain't Johnny Carson's Burbank...
I LOVE THIS STORE!!!
my sister lives in burbank and when i visit i always go to skybluepink.
its a great store..and the people are always really nice.
i love how everything in the store is for sale..even the lights that theyre using.
LOL, I get lost in Ikea every time I go. I walk out in a daze with a handful of stuff I don't need :)
