Triptych Tabletop Mirror

120307mirror.jpg
It's all about good lighting. We went to our first holiday party this past weekend and were reminded of this. The host of the party did a great job of making sure there were no dark creepy corners by putting little candles and lights to give the entire place a warm festive glow. If you have a dark and lonely endtable, console, or bookcase, this Triptych Tabletop Mirror from Restoration Hardware could help shed some light.

It has three beveled sections that will bounce around light, perfect to place behind a little votive candle or two. $99 at Restoration Hardware.

Why put a mirror so low you can't see anything in it? I understand the need for reflecting light, but why not just use a lamp? A votive with a mirror behind it is just too twee for real life.

It might work on top of a dresser
