Galerie Flowerbox: Vertical House Plants

Flowerbox1_atla012908.jpgAT:LA reader, katalyst pointed out a more modern and refined version of the same idea as the Indoor Living Wall Planter we recently posted. The Galerie Flowerbox comes in single, triple or quad hole versions in a variety of colours with wall mounting. Just don't try to water these normally or you'll have an indoor waterfall too (it's advised to take them down or use a pipette to carefully drip water into the compacted soil). More designs under the cut...

That just seems messy. I can only imagine that either dirt falls out, or muddy water will leak out.

I dropped into their store a few months ago and found myself very unconvinced by the concept. It also seemed exceptionally expensive for houseplants.

it looks cool, but i don't see how this would work. i wish topsy turvy would come out w/ a version of their planter than was in a simple color. THOSE seem functional.
