We loved all the great sofas under $1500 that Abby found for her round up post last week, so we decided to do the same with lounge chairs! Perfect for extra seating or relaxing with a good book, these good-looking side chairs won't break the bank...

A couple of these don't seem all that conducive to lounging, particularly the Eames shell chair knockoff.

Does a rocking chair count as a lounge chair? I'm restless so rocking is my way of lounging. This nice one is for $225.

I love IKEA, but the Stockholm is like airport seating. The Ballard chair is very nice.

I find that a lot of Ikea chairs are too low to the ground to be really comfy, and I'm only 5' 2" and change. I like the look of the Stockholm, though, and am still pining for a Target in Canada--love that yellow chair.

LOVING that armless chair from World Market. I'd need a different color, but LOVE the chair!

quiltmaster, i agree. i sat on that stockholm last weekend, it is awfully hard on the bum. not condusive to lounging, made me feel like i should be eating really small food at an elevation of 2700 feet.
