Roundup: 4 Hydroponic Gardening Systems
Austin

082208modernhydroponics-01.jpg Earlier today we brought you some hydroponic gardening ideas and great places in Austin to get equipment. You don't have to live in Austin to benefit from this soil-free gardening, though. We've rounded up 4 modern (and good looking) hydroponic gardening systems for your consideration...

  • Herbi by Michael Kritzer This futuristic device does more than just look cool; it allows you to grow herbs hydroponically in an ultra-modern way. Taking away the guesswork to growing, Herbi tell you when it needs water, more nutrients or its PH levels balanced with a delightful array of symbols that light up.
  • Green Fortune's Stream Garden A simple but stylish way to grow plants indoors. The Stream Garden features a streamlined design and a user friendly idea: instead of giving plants water every day, you only need to check the water level in the Stream Garden once a week. $150
  • AeroGarden from AeroGrow Forget the fact that this a product featured heavily on late-night infomercials, it's still an amazing product that follows the principles of hydroponic gardening. Featuring several different sizes, you can choose which AeroGarden you need based on what you want to grow. $149.95 and up
  • EZGro Indoor/Outdoor Hydroponic Garden Kit This neat stackable kit allows you to save counter and garden space by growing upwards. A simple setup, any plants you might grow will look delightful in their stacking quad pots. $189.95

What do you think? Are there any great hydroponic growing systems that I've left out?
