A typeset drawer is the easiest way to display small mementos and tokens from travels. Rare coins, a decorative pen or a ticket from an event fit perfectly in the drawers teeny compartments. We've also seen a vintage typeset drawer used for storing art supplies in a craft room. Or group a handful of drawers together to make a collage of vertical storage. For rustic charm, you can leave them as-is or DIY the grouping with a coat of fresh paint and decorative paper.

I'm so jealous of that gorgeous typeface drawer. I was going to do this years ago with one that my father had but after years in a damp basement it had rotted.

Pretty much every antique store I go to has typeface drawers (I've always called them "printers' trays"). They are not in scarce supply...yet.

My mom has had these for years to house her thimble collection. It's almost like they were made for it!
