Smith and Hawken’s Red Vine Window Box is handcrafted so no two are exactly alike.

The Pasadena Planter from WindowBox is hand-assembled and responsibly harvested. It can be ordered in any size over 24 inches; good to know if you’re looking for something to fit an awkwardly shaped window.

For a modern take on the window box, try PlantContainers Neometrics Metal version. It won’t scratch, dent and comes in four finishes and four sizes.

Perfect for an urban herb garden, this Modular Window Box, also from Smith & Hawken, showcases your collection of small pots.

The answer to a city dweller's prayers, this small narrow window box with a flared top from Window Box can sit on a sill, ledge or wide railing without brackets.

Gosh, I love window boxes full of flowers! I was just in Dublin, and the city looked beautiful with window boxes at the pubs and baskets of flowers hanging from lamp posts. It adds so much life to a city, and it shows that people care about the place where they live and work.

If anyone else is in Dublin, I can really recommend the window boxes from here for their own apartment:

Got six, three for over the railing and three for shrubs on the floor. Look fantastic and self-watering.
