With school back in session and work on overload a good small desk is a necessity. We work on a vintage left handed desk we found at a garage sale and have found loads of great small desks on craigslist. But for those that don't have the time to scour and just need a great small desk for under $250, jump below:

You can call #3 a desk all day long - but nothing that small can really be a desk...
...nice looking console tho.

I agree with bepsf. Desk # 3 is nothing more than a place to drop my keys and purse on.

I really don't care at all about the desks, but I'm TOTALLY using the border pattern from the first one in my bathroom.

the besta burs would make a really hot sofa table too...I was eyeing it at IKEA in red! i kinda thought the pulls (silver lip on the drawers) cheapen it a bit, but I don't think you need to screw them on

What about the best desk ever, the Parsons Mini Desk from West Elm?

Could be my computer screen or could be the photography, but... the desk in the second photo looks like it has identical "distress" marks on each of its three doors.
Actually, just checked the site and it's the same there. Pretty poor!

Besta Burs from Ikea is not very small. It is narrow in depth, but over 70" long.

7. Malia Desk from Target, $129 - NOW $99.00
I had fallen in love it with that desk weeks back and at this price I am finding it hard not to buy it.

I love that Ikea desk. I have a long wall and need something that I can use as a laptop/makeup & jewelry table. This looks like perfection. and I can still put my pop-together shelving underneath the parts I want too...yay!
