We're a big fan of repurposing items around the home (especially if they mix well with your established decor). Our style could be defined as eclectic meets vintage so giving glass bottles another life works well for us. A roundup of ideas after the jump!

Instead of relying on the neighbor to water your plants while you're away, just pick up some plant nannies that fit onto your old wine bottles.
We absolutely love the simplicity of this wine bottle lighting. While you'll need access to tools to help you cut the bottom off, we think this idea would work great as a series of lights hanging in a hallway or entrance.

Playing with textures for shelving is always a great way to add charm and coziness to a space (plus it gives you something else to focus on besides a sea of books).
While we don't mind using plastic bottles for soap, having an antique bottle for a dispenser would take your sink area decor up a notch.

you can get the spouts at bed bath and beyond - the ones i got were for liquor, i think. my grandfather did this for my mom when i was a little kid - he used a blue skyy vodka bottle and my mom still has it :)
