Panasonic Electric Heated Carpet

atla07_electric_carpet.jpg

This is about the most inappropriate find for a day like today in Los Angeles. 110 degrees in the Valley, and we're showing an electric radiant rugs that heats up to 114 degrees...just in case 110 is just a little nippy for you. Oh how my cats and girlfriend would love one of these during the balmy LA winter [sarcasm]. [via technabob]

I'm in the Midwest. It gets soooooooo cold here in the winter sometimes because the wind chill factor drops us an extra 20 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. We are setting up a study in a semi-basement of a tri-level spec house. It'a a concrete floor and this thing is looking good at the mere memory of last winter! (It was too cold to forget!)

These are really popular in Japan. Absolutely necessary in a windowless, concrete room.
Highly recommended!
