A heads up for Angelenos looking for last moment home gift ideas. The Eco Gift Expo at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium is hosting 150 eco-conscious retailers this coming weekend. The online entry fee is $10 ($15 at the door), with children under 12 and senior free. Not loving the entry fee, considering the additional cost of parking around the Auditorium (a good reason to carpool or take public transit over), but the expo will donate 10% of its gross event proceeds to Global Green USA and Whole Planet Foundation.
