Wow, if you've been saving up for some plant containers, this is the time to stock up. Driving past a couple of Ikeas yesterday (long story) we couldn't help but notice the giant SALE signs on the building. Inside, all garden pots (and lots lots more) were heavily discounted:

I bought some pots at ikea thinking all terra cotta pots are created at least somewhat equal. They started rotting and then flaking apart in months (I am admittedly a touch of an overwaterer, nonetheless). Sometimes you get what you pay for. I now get the classic ones with "Made in Italy" on the side...
