LA Event: Biz Ladies Meet Up

We made a point of dragging our jet lagged self over to the Biz Ladies Meet up last night and aren't we glad we did. Not only did we get to meet Grace from Design Sponge but we got a chance to see first hand that LA really does have a great community of independent, visionary entrepreneurs.

The DWR on Beverly was filled with about 200 women: designers, bloggers, entrepreneurs, crafters, you name it. It was inspiring to see such a warm and welcoming community in LA on a Tuesday night. And by everyone's responses, we realize that many in the room make up the AT community!

Were you there last night? Grace gave a great pitch on how to do your own PR including how to get featured on a blog like Apartment Therapy. If you were too shy to come and talk to us and have a product, a design, a room or an idea that you want to show off, go ahead and email us at la (at) apartmenttherapy (dot) com. We'd love to hear from you and help continue to offer LA a forum to talk about ideas, independent vision and diy spirit.

Ms Beachwood--it was an open event to all ladies in LA. Grace from Design Sponge had set it up and it was listed on her blog! We'll be sure to make readers aware next time around.

I was there! I can even spot myself in one of the pictures. It was such an amazing event! The people, the information, and all the delicious sweets!

It was such a great night! Cool ladies, great tips and lots of networking. Alas, I wish I could have done more. I write a blog called Dog Art Today.
