So Cal D's in tha OC! For those in OC, next Thursday, May 17th, DWR:Newport Beach is hosting an event to celebrate talented local designers from around Southern California. Noted designers will include Stuart Briedenstein (who makes wearable resin sculptures), Hiromi Takizawa (who molds glass into unexpected and humorous forms), Philip Nikolich, (who makes amazing coffee tables by hand), Todd Messick (who will share some tricks he used to make his small loft more livable, and Ryan Singer, a Laguna Beach designer/archictect, who will present a 45 minute audio-visual presentation on "healing with space."
