Reminder: First Fridays on Abbot Kinney Tonight

Maybe we're biased because we live so close, but we are pretty excited that it's the first friday of the month.

That means that all the stores on Abbot Kinney are going to be open until 9 tonight. They normally serve wine, cheese, and fun things like hot apple cider. We're surprised by how many people make it down and just mingle. It's a great opportunity to meet shop owners, find some community and be inspired. Plus if you work a desk job, it's nice to make it outside before the weekend starts.

Are we the only ones? Do you guys make it down?

valley food is the best at the best prices! pho, anyone?

i live in santa barbara and downtown SB has the same thing on the first thursday - fun for LA people here on vacation ;)
