Taschen Warehouse Sale

My friend Maggie just reminded me (thank goodness) that the wondrous world of Taschen is having a warehouse sale, where “thousands of slightly damaged and display copies from TASCHEN on sale at bargain basement prices, 50% to 75% off”. Taschen is one of the most notable and important publishers of art, architecture, décor, design and fashion books, and if you’ve ever wanted sources of inspiration for your next home décor project, the Taschen bookstore is surely one of the best destinations...especially at these prices.

I went to last year's Taschen sale and almost ended up in a (very minor) tug-of-war with Joel Grey over the last copy of a Wolfgang Tillmans book. I graciously let him have it since: 1. he's a photographer himself; 2. Beverly Hills is probably more his turf than mine; 3. I love "Cabaret." Side note: this Taschen store is probably the only Starck interior that I'm 100% in love with.
