We're assuming that most everyone is at least as excited as we are about the return of Mad Men Season Three this sunday. In honor of Don Draper's office at Sterling Cooper, we found a great mid century turquoise lamp, a bar, a pair of lamps and then some modern stuff to go with it all.

I love Don Draper. He's everything an inappropriate choice of a mate should be, in my mind: aloof, distant, gorgeous, brooding, mysterious. ::Sigh:: Too bad those guys make awful partners in real life... they're so attractive.
I'm late to the "Mad Men" party, just having watched in on Netflix. (All the budget-conscious: did you know you can still get $10 cable? You just can't watch "Mad Men" at the same time as the rest of the country.) Surely someone on this site has celebrated the goooooorgeous opening credits on that show? I never watch opening credits; I skip chapter to the first scene. But with "Mad Men," I can't NOT watch the opening. So great, such wonderful graphics and the beautiful silhouette of Don Draper falling, falling, falling... only to end up on his cool couch, with his smoking cigarette. Bravo, whoever designed those titles!
