New crop of Ebay Finds

  • A curved Lucite coffee table is visually weightless: Perfect for a small space.

  • This white toadstool lamp looks great on or off: We love a subtly glowing piecelike this in a bedroom.
    01-12-ebay-3-.jpg
  • Even in a roomful of eye-catching furniture, this spiky teak floor lamp with a ribbed plastic spherical shade will hold its own: We would place a tiny pot of moss on its wedge-shaped shelf.

  • Oval walnut and chrome Art Deco drinks table: All you need now is a French leather club chair to go with it. And a fat cigar.

  • We love the cartoony quality of this bunkhouse for your beagle (or other small dog): Dress it up with a bright shag rug, or just buy the orange model from the same seller.

    Thanks, Molly!

Just scored a great bedside table lamp at... yes, IKEA again. Very similar in spirit to the toadstool lamp (above) and of the same scale, but with a more contemporary "Kartell" vibe. The top half is a matte polypropylene shade with subtle pleating; the bottom half is high-gloss plastic. And the 2 pieces snap into place. Genius design. Price? $3.99. Seriously, less than the cost of their meatball plate. I think it's pretty damn cool and a great buy. It looks better in person than it does on their website... http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10103&storeId=12&langId=-1&productId=10758
