Edward Wormley designed the Precedent line in 1947 for Drexel to secure his position with Dunbar and was marketed towards the upscale conservative modern Beverly Hills type of clients. I bought an entire bedroom suite from a well known "charitable institution thrift store" in the Valley which sat in the store for over two months for $200. I am very fortunate even savvy dealers who come to shop here for great deals missed it. It was just meant to be for me.
Wormley wasn't at his peak during his time contracting with Drexel. Most of the vintage Drexel pieces are not heavily valued.
His best work was done for DUNBAR Furniture.

Best work or not, these are lustworthy. I am beginning to get West Coast Scavenger envy.
We have a Pyramid Unit by Drexel K89-4 Made in 1955 by Edward Wormley. Do you have any information for me? Thank you Joan
I have my grandparents' Drexel Precedent line dining room table/chairs. I've only seen the chairs for sale online - never the table. Anyone know why the table is hard to find/value?
