This Thursday's Los Angeles Craigslist Scavenger is a great mix of modern, vintage and ethnic, notably a beautiful Moroccan style wall water fountain, a stunning set bent bamboo chairs (shown above), a Chinese ceramic table and stool set, and the favourite of the bunch, a Danish teak credenza with matching planter, all listed below...
did you see that someone had/has a bolt of ikea fabric. Its a nice black and white leaf print. 15 bucks. I don't have a sewing machine or a place to store it, otherwise i would have bought it by now.

Love those bamboo chairs. A wee-bit too spendy for me, but very good looking.

SydneyBristow: some people collect these sort of things because of their unique quality, historical characteristics. Who knows, it might be one of a kind...or extremely common.

I really don't think that armoire is Stickley... that really doesn't look like any Stickley mark I've ever seen, plus if it was in that flawless condition it would be worth so much more! $7,000 - $8,000 easy.
Hmmm... does anybody know? Any experts in the house?

found the chair here a while back, so I think it's not that rare. http://www.stonewallkitchen.com/prdsell.aspx?L0=HomeGarden&L1=Furniture&L2=FoldingChairLadder

@semidevine:
I don't think it's someone trying to pass off a fake Gustav Stickley piece, just Stickley. (Ask Google or go to stickley.com).
