Scavenger: Velvet Flocked MidCentury Love Seat - $75
Los Angeles

It's large, gold, black and certainly will make one heckuva an impression in the right setting. Described as straight out of "That 70's Show", certainly not for everyone, but a perfect match for someone looking for a disco era style seating option...

WHAT?!?! I would give an arm and a leg (and maybe my cat) for that sofa! I love it!

If it's from the seventies, it's not mid-century, non?

Maybe it is just me, but Los Angeles Craigslist has the least amount of interesting furniture for sale. Why is that??.

La craigslist is horrible! either ridiculously overpriced or just pure junk!

The only "right setting" for that couch is a dumpster.

Hopefully it's not my choices, but I have to agree that the majority of LA CL listings aren't worth noting (thus it takes a bit of time). The good stuff is picked up by dealers and the market here skews toward big box throwaways or pricier vintage items.

That's one ass-ugly couch.

Yeah, this might be the ugliest couch I have ever seen. The fabric, the scalloped edge along the bottom, the poo-colored posts on each side. It is beyond redemption.

Ye, gods, what a hideous loveseat. Yes, yes, I know it could be reupholstered/slipcovered/whatever. But the sight of it made my teeth hurt.

Interesting to see the love/hate responses to the couch.

I think it would look very groovy in the right setting.

That couch! Shriekingly bad. I want the canisters, though-they're like giant gumballs. Nom nom nom.
