Scavenger: Vintage Midcentury Modern Teak Chair for $150
Los Angeles

102308_lascav1.jpgSometimes, a traditional armchair just seems too bulky especially in a smaller space. A good compromise is to find a chair that is not only comfortable and functional but also gives the illusion of space like this vintage midcentury modern teak chair. The solid teak frame features a cut-out back that could hold a cushion, but also looks stylish without. Currently priced at $150.

More good stuff after the jump...

I think it's actually $445, not $150. I almost flipped when I saw that price.

When I saw the Broyhill Brasilia piece my heart melt cause I had the same one cpl months ago and when I was changing the deco in my apt (1000th time) I let it go but I did not know about it then...I wish I could take both pieces back(credenza & bookcase in excellent condition).

If I knew then, what I know now...

That is an insanely great price on the Brasilia pieces. Echoing first5times' "why aren't these in Chicago?".

I wish I had the time and a truck - I'd run down to LA and get those Brasilia pieces for myself.

I just got a set of Brasilia credenza, highboy and night stand a few weeks ago for $500 on here! They are awesome!
