Flashes of warm weather invite us to change our decor. Perhaps it's the yearning to visit exotic places but when it heats up, we notice we're drawn to exotic patterns and pieces that underscore that longing to be footloose and fancy-free, with only our passport and carry-on in hand. But, the only traveling we've done lately is online. Perhaps that's why we were drawn to these daybeds...
Reminiscent of the daybeds that are ubiquitous to India and other countries where hot weather is a common occurence, these marry Indian seamsters, who hand sew the colourful covers, with Italian industrial production and echo the interests, and backgrounds, of their London-based designers, Jonathan Levien and Nipa Doshi.
