Wicker gone wild! We were flipping through the latest issue of California Home + Design, which features a drool worthy Laguna Beach home. One of the things that caught our eye (besides the amazing view they have,) were these stools. They are designed by Patricia Urquiola, for Dridade. They have a painted steel structure that is covered in wicker that is woven in a bold ethnic pattern...
These babies aren't cheap, but they do provide a fresh take on a traditional material. It could be a fun idea to try on an old wicker piece, perhaps by stenciling a pattern with spray paint? Anyways- the real deal is available at Unica Home. (they come in two colorways)
