Lilipad Studio Collections Step Stools

Everyone needs a step stool on occasion. We're always considering getting one so we can access those topshelf books we're always leaping or reaching for. And although the Lilipad Studio Step Stools are marketed for children, there's a lovely adult sophistication about these stools that anyone could appreciate and use.

Hand crafted using totally green material made from 100% recovered and recycled wood fiber and a formaldehyde-free binder, each step stool is base-painted by hand with non-toxic, no/VOC paints and then a beautiful custom pattern is hand applied using stamps. The colours and ornamentation of these stools remind us of the poptastic colours of Bollywood films of yesteryear. Available in four different lines, Crosby's Friends, Mandarin Butterfly, Bohemian Garden, and Butterfly Rhapsody...we want them all.

These are so beautiful. Truly. I am now quite inspired to make one. I used to do faux finishing for profit and now I am quite thankful that I did.

Good for them for designs and the price, well the price is probably worth it. There's tons of finish work here. Love it.
