Bemz: Slipcovers for Everything Ikea

We saw something about Bemz Slipcovers way back when but they had not figured out how to sell to the US market at that point. We're in luck as they figured out the exchange and tax situation and now offer their wares to the US. If you're not familiar, Bemz is a

washable slipcover company that specializes in fitting furniture from Ikea. Chairs, Couches, Pillows etc all can have snazzy new slipcovers made for them. They offer free fabric swatches, and reasonable prices. the slipcover for the chair pictured above [Karlanda] is $147.57. Also if you're contemplating buying a piece of furniture we did see on the Bemz site that you can purchase it without the exsisiting cover at Ikea and go straight to the big dog. We're heading to the land of the Swedes this weekend to check out the bench in the Karlanda series that we didn't even know exsisted till Bemz.

I've been looking for a bench like that for the foot of our bed for a while, something thats done in fabric to soften the straight lines of our bed frame. Sadly I called Ikea and was told that the bench was discontinued. If you find something similar let me know.
