As much as I love mid-century style, I absolutely adore Hollywood Regency (I watched Top Design mainly for
Kelly Wearstler. And
her insane wardrobe.) It's a style that makes me think, "I should do that in the (fill in the blank) room," but when push comes to shove, I'm more or less sitting in the middle of the floor, wailing, "Where do I BEGIN!?" So when I saw the
Mamello chaise at Anthropologie, I could swear I heard it softly whispering, "Ditch that retro moldy style and buy me...BUY ME..."
Just got my new Anthropologie catalogue last night in the mail, and was drooling over the same piece...

That store is sooo dangerous for me...soooo dangerous...!! I've never bought furniture there before, so if anyone can vouch for the quality of the pieces, that would be great.

i totally think this would go with mid-century pieces. i love when rooms, like outfits, are mixed up style-wise.
