Never in our wildest dreams would we have thought that these words would come out of our mouth but rattan is hot.
YES, we may have just become our mother.
But seriously, we were in Restoration Hardware last weekend and their Cayman Chair and Ottoman were just inside the door to greet us when
we walked in and can we just say that it was beautiful. All of the line is really handsome but we were especially fond of the couch and chair set. Surprisingly, and we say this based on their normal price points, the chair was relatively affordable at $815 for the chair and $360 for the ottoman.

I don't get why rattan/wicker/bananleaf/fiber/rope/hemp/whatever always gets a bad rap. Organic materials like this are always a part of my design mix. I dig a boho-modern aesthetic.

oh my GOSH! just thinking about having that in my house with my (very neurotic) cat just makes me want to CRY! she has a serious clawing/kneeding/biscuit making problem.
