To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic Eames Lounge Chair and ottoman, 670-671, Herman Miller and the Eames Foundation are putting out a special edition, medallion-marked, hand-numbered 50th Anniversary Palisander Rosewood version. The chair will be made with Santos Palisander, a sustainable rosewood.

For a donation of $6500 to the Eames Foundation, the chair can be yours. If you like it, you have a year to pull together the shekels quick, because this beauty is gone after 2006.
